I like wine. I like whisky. I like champagne. Now I’m in love with storage of the liquids as well.
Found this wonderful new champagne “cellar” over at Goldarths, one of my favorite luxury blogs.
It’s made by Veuve Clicquot and is called Vertical Limit. It is a champagne cellar designed by Porsche Design Studio.
The brushed stainless steel monolith, which stands slightly over two meters, houses 12 magnums of Veuve Clicquot’s finest vintages in horizontal compartments that open to reveal a Veuve Clicquot-yellow illuminated background. The temperature in each compartment is kept at an optimum 12°C for tastings, and the same as that of Veuve Clicquot’s cellars in Reims.
Porsche Design Studio replicated the clean lines of the Vertical Limit champagne cellar in the design of the labels on the champagne bottles. Only 15 of these cellars will be made, and exclusively purchased from Porsche Design stores.
